The ŠKODA AUTO company is also very active supporter of the sport events, either in motorsport or in other branches. We are supporting many important events, especially in ice hockey or cycling, be it individual races or cups and championship.

IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship

May 1st – 17th 2015
The 2015 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship is marking the 23rd year of ŠKODA as Official Main Sponsor of this prestigious event. The tournament featuring the world’s best 16 ice hockey nations is hosted at home of SKODA in Czech Republic.

Wörthersee Treffen

May 13th - 16th 2015
For the sixth time already, ŠKODA will participate on the 34th edition of the legendary Volkswagen tuning event. The brand will be presenting no less than five exciting ŠKODA sports cars at the cult event, including four sporty versions of the ŠKODA Fabia (ŠKODA Fabia R5 rally car, ŠKODA Fabia R5 Combi show car, the ‘Trainee Car’ pickup ŠKODA FUNstar, ŠKODA Fabia with Design package Red & Grey Plus) and the racy ŠKODA Octavia Combi RS 230.

Tour de France

July 4th - 26th 2015
Running from Saturday July 4th to Sunday July 26th 2015, the 102th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,344 kilometres (before homologation). Grand Départ takes place for the first time in history in Utrecht (NL). ŠKODA is official partner and official car of the Tour de France since 2004. And since 2004 until 2014 ŠKODA was partner of the White jersey.

Vuelta España

August 22nd – September 9th 2015
Andorra continues to show its immense support for the world of cycling. In 2015, the Pyrenean country will host two stages of the Vuelta. 70th edition of one of the top 3 cycling races worldwide will be this year made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,374.4 kilometres.
